Responsibilities
1. Optimize and troubleshoot plastics processing operations (Injection, Extrusion, Compounding) to improve efficiency and product quality
2. Provide technical consultation and material selection support to customers in collaboration with R&D teams
3. Conduct root cause analysis of product or process issues and implement corrective actions with clear reporting
4. Advise on mold design and processing conditions to ensure compatibility with selected materials
5. Coordinate material testing and validation to meet required quality standards
6. Support business development by promoting new materials, including sustainable and recycled plastics
7. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities
8. Prepare technical reports and trial results following customer visit
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or related fields
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in plastics processing (Injection Molding, Extrusion, or Compounding)
3. Solid knowledge of engineering plastics and polymer materials
4. Strong troubleshooting skills in manufacturing processes
5. Experience in material trials and ability to convert results into commercial applications
6. Good command of English (spoken and written)
7. Knowledge of industry standards (UL94, REACH, RoHS, ISO) is a plus
8. Mandarin or Japanese language skills are an advantage |
